Catching up - Summer Sessions - My Family!

I had to take a much needed break from editing this evening and thought I would post some pictures from this past summer.  I was able to go visit both of my sisters and take pictures of their cute family and a new baby niece!  I'm playing catch-up again and had to get these off my list.  And one of my sisters was bugging me to put them up. :)  So here they are, Little Miss Isabella and The Griffeth Family.  Enjoy!

The Bean Family welcomes baby {H}

You might remember this couple from a while back.  Well they decided to get themselves a family and welcomed baby {H} into their lives.  I was so excited when they contacted me to capture some special moments with their little one.  The evening was perfect weather, not too hot and the lighting was just gorgeous.  The session turned out just as I imagined it.  I hope they will treasure these for a lifetime.  Congrats again you guys!  He's adorable.

The {P} Family

This is the last session from my December clients - I am all caught up and these were just waiting to be posted on the blog today.  I really enjoyed this session - the family picked the location, the teenage kids were so laid back and mom and dad were willing to do whatever I asked.  We climbed all over rocks, squatted in long grass hiding who knows what and got close to duck droppings near the pond.  Yuck.  This was one of the easiest sessions I have done - I just said 'cheese' and the pictures were great! Thanks again for hanging out with me {P} family!

{L} Family Sneek Peek - Fall Family Portraits

I've been SUPER busy with sessions lately and it's been SO. MUCH. FUN!  I had to post a sneek peek of one of my sessions before I get the rest of the edits finished.  You're probably thinking this family looks a little bit like me....'cause that's my sis!  We had a fun, but super cold morning, the boys were great and gosh darnit they were just the cutest.  I can say that because they're my nephews.  Stay tuned for more cuteness!

The {C} Family Revealed

I stayed up late last night knocking out the last of my edits so I could post today.  So happy with the way these turned out.  Such a sweet and loving family and the nicest people you will ever meet!  Watch out Mom and Dad...these kids are gonna be heartbreakers.  So stinkin' adorable.

The {H} Family

Just a couple fun snapshots of a recent session I had with the {H} Family!  These are some good friends of ours - {G} and I had our babies the same day so it's been fun seeing our kids grow up.  Recently {G} found out she has cervical cancer and wanted to get some pictures done before she underwent any treatments.  Thankfully the cancer is contained and things look hopeful!  Please keep her and her family in your prayers. 

 

{M+P}=6 years!

Congratulations to these two for recently celebrating 6 years of marriage!  {M} said it was about time that they got some pictures together - I think I made them feel like they were newlyweds again - making them get all snuggly with each other.  And don't they look it?!  I was so pleased with how they turned out.  Congrats again ya'll - and thanks for letting me capture your love for one another.

I met up with these two out at the fun and funky Historic Grapevine on Saturday for a fun shoot.  We prayed for the rain to pause and it worked!  It was a muggy day but we survived and got some fun shots.  Lovin' the vintage look lately.  Here's a sneek peek of the day!
